Merced police arrested Andrea Solima, suspected of stealing nearly $7,000 from the parent-teacher fund at Gracey Elementary School.
Police believe the suspect used the money to pay off personal bills.
Solima was arrested for embezzlement on Wednesday and booking into the Merced County Jail.
