The Merced Police Department are still searching for suspects involved in the shooting murders of two men.
The victims were found on Canal Street near M and 23rd in Merced
The victims are identified as Luis Morales and Benjamin Marino, both 21 years old.
Officers were searching for a person with a gun when they found the two bodies.
Neighbors were surprised by the murders.
"No not on this side of town, I've seen people get beat up, but never see people get shot or killed," Elena Perez said.
This is Merced's 8th and 9th murder this year.
