Fresno police arrested a man after leading them on a chase through Fresno and Clovis, reaching speeds of 100 MPH.

The man crashed his car near Herndon and Dewitt near Highway 168 in Clovis.

37-year-old Chan Scott reportedly drove to Fresno police headquarters and tried to sideswipe a patrol car.

Officers followed the suspect and said he ran another officer off the road.

Lt. Jon Papaleo with the Fresno Police Department said, "He swerved from his traffic lane into the oncoming traffic lane and forced our police officer, in his vehicle, off of the roadway on to side of the street."

Police say Scott was going up to a hundred miles an hour on the freeway and rear ended another car as he left Highway 168 at Herndon avenue.

Scott was arrested and is being held on more than $125,000 bail.
