A stolen gun and two pounds of meth is what Madera Police discovered when they served several warrants yesterday in Fresno.

CHP assisted by pulling over a suspect vehicle.

That's where they found the meth.

In another location, officers found an AK-47 assault rifle that had been stolen from Fort Irwin more than a year ago.

"Because of that the supects are going to be charged federally and my understanding is the Feds are gonna take it over," Commander Dino Lawson of Madera Police said.

There were a total of 27 rifles stolen from Fort Irwin last year.

Police also found a lot of cash during the investigation.
