Police say it’s a possible love triangle that turned deadly.

Visalia Police arrested 32-year old Edgar Lugo on suspicion of murder.

36-year old Clifford St. Martin was shot to death outside his girlfriend’s driveway early Monday morning.

Claudia Villarreal says she dated Martin for a year and a half and believes her ex-boyfriend…and father of her child…was jealous.

Claudia says her boyfriend walked outside around 2 am to check up on a noise.

“I was in the room waiting for Clifford to come in and I was about to go out there and didn't. I just waited a little longer and next thing I know I hear gunshots,” Villarreal said.

“Recently there’s been tension between victim and suspect. The victim was dating the father of the suspect’s child,” Visalia Police Sgt. Kevin Kroeze said.

Claudia says she's been separated from Lugo for a couple years ago because she explains...they had problems.

Police urge anyone with information about the murder to come forward.

This marks Visalia’s first murder of the year.

Article reads,"The Victim, was dating the father, of the suspects child." Does this mean to say, that someone was gay? The victim, was dating the suspects father.? or, was the victim, dating the Mother, of the suspects child? If the Victim, was dating the Suspects childs mother, then YES, the noise was the suspect attempting to birdsye another human relationship. Jealousy, seems to be the reason. It is written, ALL human relationships FAIL. Statistics PROVE this.
