Good news for citrus growers who were expecting the worst from Mother Nature.

According to California Citrus Mutual, there were no widespread reports of crop damage throughout the Central Valley.

Wind turbines and water were run by growers last night in anticipation of the freezing temperatures, but due to cloud cover, citrus growers escaped the low 20's temperatures they had expected.

The freeze warning will continue through Monday and growers are preparing for what looks like to be the coldest night of the freeze Saturday.
