The Supreme Court upheld the Constitution and California must reduce the number of prisoners it packs in like feedlot cattle. Increasing density in women's prisons to free beds for men prisoners is not meeting the Court's mandate. Those who complain that prisoners are treated too well in U.S. prisons know little of what goes on behind high prison walls where the public cannot see.

I'm pretty sure these criminals have more living space than the men & women serving aboard a Naval vessel or those over seas in theatre! They can shut their mouths now....

Just like any prison in the United States, the convicts are treated better than if they were in another country's prison. It's called prison for a reason, the convict is suppose to be penalized and not intended to be a Caribbean vacation. Call it incentive not to break the law.
