A woman was held up in a home invasion robbery in Northwest Fresno Wednesday night.

Three men broke into the home near Herndon and Polk around 11:30 p.m.

Investigators say the robbers used a brick from the backyard to smash through a sliding glass door.

Once inside, they woke the woman living there and one of the suspects held her down, while the two others grabbed her purse and a camera.

The victim was not harmed and ran to a neighbor's house and call 911 after the suspects left.

The victim was not able to provide much of a description because it was dark and she obviously shaken up by the home invasion.

Police believe the suspects may have thought the home was empty when they broke in.
