Officials at Yosemite National Park are issuing a warning after a second fatality related to the hantavirus.

This is the third confirmed case discovered in Yosemite and the second time someone died from it.

A possible fourth case is also under investigation.

All of the victims stayed at Yosemite's Curry Village in mid-June of this year.

Yosemite Park Ranger Scott Gediman said, "We have determined that the exposure did happen around the same time, and so we're hopeful that there's no further cases. But the reason we wanted to get the news out today about this third confirmed case, is simply for public notification."

People get hantavirus from deer mice saliva or droppings.
