In less than a week, Fresno has seen it's first two murders of the year.

The latest came Friday night when an argument turned deadly outside an apartment complex.

The incident happened at the Palm Garden Apartments on Angus and Yale near First and Clinton.

According to Fresno Police, two men got into an argument in the parking lot when a man pulled out a gun and began firing.

Detectives are still searching for the gunman and they are unsure if the incident was gang related.

The murder comes four days after the deadly stabbing of 24-year-old Christian Thomas on
Bulldog Lane.

Fresno had 51 murders all of last year.
