Investigators say 65-year-old David Webster shot his brother over the weekend.
The shooting happened Sunday afternoon at a home off Ashlan Avenue near Minnewawa, which is located on a county island, so the Fresno County Sheriff's Department responded.
Detectives say Webster shot his brother and then ran away.
Fresno County deputies tracked Webster down at Dakota and Chestnut and took him into custody.
The victim is still hospital after undergoing surgery.
