Five gang members face charges after a raid near downtown Fresno.

Fresno police served a search warrant at a home on Valeria Street, south of Belmont.

There was a shooting at that location last week and the victim is still recovering in the hospital.

The house is reportedly a hangout for gang members.

Lt. Joe Gomez with the Fresno Police Department said, "We took about ten people out of the house and we arrested five of them. Most of them hard core gang members, had felony warrants and we have them downtown at this time."

Police found cash and ammunition in the house.

Nearby Yokomi Elementary School was placed on lockdown for about 30 minutes.
