Police say Central High School head basketball coach, Loren LeBeau, may have been speeding and possibly under the influence when he hit three people crossing the street Wednesday night.

The victims were crossing the street on bikes near Shepherd and Millbrook Avenues in Northeast Fresno around 9:00 p.m.

The victims were a father with a baby riding in a carrier behind his bike and a 7-year-old boy on his own bike. The father and baby are in stable condition at Community Regional Medical Center but the 7-year-old is in critical condition at St. Agnes Medical Center.

LeBeau reportedly left the scene of the accident but returned and told police he hit the family. He was arrested.
