30-year-old Antonio Cordova was placed on leave pending the investigation.

Cordova was charged with committing lewd acts on a child.

Parents received a vague recorded phone message from the school:  "This John Davis, principal of Oak Grove Elementary school. I have an important, short message to share with you. I'm calling to inform you that today I have been investigating some allegations against an employee at our school..."

The message did not give any specifics.

This is so incredibly sad, I feel so sick that this has happened espicially since we reported this janitor at Oak Grove last school year for calling my daughter pet names and that was already crossing the line!! He should have been fired at that time.
