Megan Martzen was escorted by her husband Wednesday morning as she entered the courtroom for the second day of testimony.

Cameras were not allowed in court, but the room was once again filled with loved ones of both Martzen and Ella VanLeeuwen.

Dr. Michael Chambliss, forensic pathologist took the stand and talked about the injuries that led to Ella's death.

A 4 inch fracture to the skull and broken ribs.

17-month-old Ella reportedly died from blunt force trauma to her head and abdomen.

While on stand Dr. Chambliss stated:

" These injuries are still unexplained. To me they stay in homicide category," Dr. Chambliss said.

CBS47 legal analyst Carl Faller says in a close case like this one, having the pathologist explain every detail of the injuries is a tremendous role and is going to go a long way of convincing the jury one way or the other.

" It's especially critical when there were no other eye witnesses to what happend," Carl Faller said.

Martzen maintains her innocense, and attorney Faller says on any trial even the expression of the defendant can be enough to sway a jury.

"I tell everyone who's ever involved in a trial to assume that everything they do is being watched," said Faller.

I pray for Megan, Scott and Maverick. I have met Megan and have to say I think one must be crazy to think she did this. She's a pure heart. A good soul. I pray that this nightmare ends soon for her. And I pray for Ella's family to find peace. I cannot imagine the pain losing a child can cause. Ella is in a beautiful place now and her family qill see her again some day. Its such an awful think and I pray for healing.

Like a Narcasistic person Megan Martzen shows no feelings of sadness, remorse or even empathy for the child or the child's family... She looks for the cameras to pose. Her demeanor is of that of walking into court to pay a traffic fine. Has a psychological evaluation been performed on this young lady? And for all of you foolish people that are donating to her fund are you aware that her mothers home where she reside just had the entire kitchen done in granite that her mother displays her new IPad that coastal vacations for all of them is a customary thing and yet they have no money that they had to take out a site for funding. How is your donations really being used... Stop funding her. To baby Ella's family. My heart goes out to you don't loose hope, push the justice system for the justice your beautiful child deserves .. God bless
