Update:
Police arrested Jack Alford Tuesday morning following a traffic stop.

Clovis police are looking for a man wanted for stealing copper wire.

Officers say Jack Alford ripped wires from a street light on Tollhouse between Sunnyside and Fowler on Monday.

A City of Clovis employee saw it happen and snapped a picture of the suspect leaving the scene on a bicycle, wearing a backpack.

Police searched the suspect's home and found his backpack full of copper wire.
