Country music act, Thompson Square, performed Monday night at Woodward Park to kick off the annual KISS County Radiothon fundraiser to benefit Children's Hospital.

Thousands of "Change Bandits" around the Valley are collecting donations to turn in during the Radiothon that takes place at Children's Hospital Central California September 6-8.

During the Radiothon, a phone bank will be set up at the hospital to take pledges.

The annual fundraiser has raised over $4 million for Children's Hospital since 1998.

KISS Country radio personality, Jody Jo, said, "I think with the economy being so bad, people understand that there are priorities in their life and helping children, helping the hospital... something that may benefit you in the future at some point, is important to us. You know, it's kind of like investing in your future."
