A candlelight vigil will be held in Kingsburg Thursday night to remember Regan Johnson, killed in a hit and run early Wednesday morning.

The 24-year-old woman was working with construction crews on Highway 99 and Clinton around 2:00 a.m. when a car, traveling at high speed, struck her and fled the scene.

The suspected hit-and-run driver, 26-year-old Alyssa Villanueva, could face murder charges. She left the scene and was driving with a suspended license for a DUI in 2010 and she may have been under the influence before this latest crash.

Regan Johnson was a graduate of Kingsburg High School and Fresno State.

There is a candlelight vigil taking place at 9:00 p.m. Thursday night at Kingsburg Memorial Park at Sierra Street and 18th Avenue in Kingsburg. Click the related link for more information.
