CBS has pulled Monday's season finale of Mike & Molly in light of the tragic tornado that ripped through parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, Illinois and Iowa on Sunday.

Titled "Windy City," the Season 3 finale saw Mike (Billy Gardell) and Molly (Melissa McCarthy) confessing important news to each other as  tornado descended upon Chicago.

"Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight's season finale of Mike & Molly, which has a related story line," a CBS spokesperson said in a statement. "A repeat broadcast of Mike & Molly will run in the time period.  The season finale will be broadcast at an appropriate date."

NBC pulled a similar stunt earlier this year when a particularly violent episode of Hannibal was supposed to air days after the Boston Marathon bombings. Instead, NBC posted the hourlong episode online as a six-part web series and skipped directly from the third to the fifth episode.

So far, two men have died from the tornado.
