Our storm from yesterday is clearing out, after dumping several inches of snow down to the 1,300ft elevation. Chains are required on foothill and mountain highways, and the Southern Passes have been closed due to snow, expected to re-open by mid-morning.

Clearing & cold today, with mid 50s for the valley (warmer to the north, cooler to the south, where the air is pooled by the mountains). Foothills will see mid 40s to low 50s, with low 30s to low 40s in the mountains today & a 20% chance of isolated showers and gusty winds.

A slow warming trend over the next few days before another chance of rain Saturday. 50% chance for the mountains & a slight chance for the valley. More warming next week.
