A band of showers is moving through Central California this morning, bringing light rain/sprinkles to the valley, and low snow to the foothills and mtns today. (Saw snow to 2300' overnight). Up to 5" snow near Yosemite. Staying cool, near 55 valley, near 50 foothills, 30s mtns. With some clearing this afternoon, we could see isolated valley thunderstorms. Overnight lows near freezing valley, near 30 foothills, teens mtns. Patchy frost in the valley this weekend with only minor warming through Friday.
