The front of cooler air passed through last night & brought the heaviest rain. Now the low pressure system behind it will rotate showers through our area as it slides southeast. That means lingering light scattered showers today with a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms as skies start to clear a little, and the cold air clashes with the warm air.

Winter Weather Advisory for the foothills and mountains until 10pm for hazardous driving conditions. Near 50 valley, 40s foothills, 30s mtns. Clear but cold weekend with a valley Freeze Watch through Monday morning; protect plants, pets, & pipes. Warmer next week, but fog could return.
