Afternoon highs will be five to ten degrees above seasonal normals for the next few days.  High pressure moving in from the west will produce offshore winds over California that will boost highs into the low 70s.  Skies will be clear and dry.  Next week computer models are forecasting a change in our weather pattern to cooler and wet as a series of storms sweep in from the Pacific.
