A strong area of high pressure continues to keep the weather clear and quiet.
Temperatures will cool considerably this week, although at best highs are still going to be a few degrees above-average.
No triple digits are in the forecast. Highs of 102 and 100 Saturday and Sunday were a few degrees away from records.
Autumn begins next week and a big change in the weather is expected at nearly the same time. A cool, unsettled pattern brings the threat of showers and even storms.

Fall begins September 22nd at 7:49 PM.
