Chilly air is moving in behind a weak storm system than brought light showers to the valley and heavier snow to the Sierra Nevada Monday.  Up to a foot of new snow was possible through Tuesday morning above 5-thousand feet with a few inches possible around 4-thousand feet.  Light showers wrapped up early Tuesday morning in the valley and now cold air is heading our way.  Overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s to middle 30s through Thursday with below normal afternoon highs in the middle 40s to middle 50s.  The next chance of rain will be Friday when another storm system moves ashore.
