Another round of rain, wind and snow hits Sunday.
Forecast totals for Sunday look to be heavier than Saturday.
In all, some Valley locations will get up to an inch of rain and mountain locations will get 1 to 2 feet of snow above 5000’ and 2 to 4 feet of snow above 7000’!
Winds will be strong in the mountains and on the west side of the Valley.
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 4:00 AM Monday.
Expect heavy snow and strong winds in mountain areas with gusts up to 75 MPH along the crest.
For holiday travelers, rain will hit the Grapevine Sunday afternoon/evening. It will be wet and messy but temperatures will stay above freezing until most of the rain has fallen.
Christmas Eve looks dry and should be better for travel.
Stay safe,
Justin
