Like any leader would, Bulldogs quarterback Derek Carr has already met with his new offensive coordinator, Dave Schramm.
Scramm's cupboard isn't bare that's for sure, with all those weapons coming back.
He talked about Carr at Wednesday's press conference.
DAVE SCHRAMM: one of the things I told him is this is his football team - this is his offense - and it'll go how he pushes them - and from what I understand he's a great leader on this team - so when we can't be around him in the summer and when they're out throwing he's got to press the tempo - they've got to follow him - I watch film and aside from all the stuff you see when he's throwing the ball and making plays I watch him command the offense - I watch him check the protections, I watch him i-d the mike - I watch him get his eyes right with the safety - I see all those things and so he's got a good background - he's been well coached - now we've just got to get in the offense and start pushing the buttons.
