Avenal boxer Jose Ramirez tweeted Friday night that Saturday is the day he leaves for the London Olympics. Ramirez will start competing for the U.S. on July 29th.
At the same time, he'll be represented
in the U.S. at McDonald's.
Ramirez will be featured on a bunch of the fast food chain's products; his image will be used on cups and bags. Jose Ramirez is the top-ranked amatuer boxer in the country. McDonald's has a sponsorship with the Olympics.
