Some people believe the Fresno State men's basketball team has a shot at winning 20 games this season.
The young Bulldogs are growing up quickly and newcomer, Greg Smith, from Edison High School, could possibly help them become immediate contenders in the WAC. The 6’ 10” Smith will start at forward this year.
The Bulldogs worked out at the Save Mart Center again on Tuesday and Head Coach Steve Cleveland said, “We’re in a situation where we have four new players and four new scholarships and so that makes practice competitive and so Coach Cleveland and Coach Reinert don’t have to get up and down the floor so that in itself makes practice just that much more competitive.”
The first game is a preseason matchup with Fresno Pacific November 4th at 8:00 PM at the Save Mart Center.
