Fresno State's new coach won't be Jim McElwain.

Alabama's offensive coordinator, who was the Bulldogs' offensive coordinator in 2007, has reportedly pulled his name from consideration.  The website TideSports.com is reporting McElwain was interviewed by Fresno State, but had concerns over the budget and the ability to sustain competitive football.

McElwain was unavailable for comment.  His name is still linked to the open jobs at Southern Miss and Colorado State.

Mike Martz's name has resurfaced, according to CBS47's George Takata, who had a source tell him the search firm that Fresno State hired contacted Martz on Saturday morning to gauge his interest.

Martz is the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator.  He played and briefly coached at Fresno State in the 1970s; he also coached at Bullard High School.

As for Kelly Skipper, it's now being reported that he hasn't been contacted by Fresno State officials for the open job.  CBS47 left him a voicemail on Saturday.

Skipper is the running backs coach with the Oakland Raiders.  He played running back at Fresno State and later coached the position for the Bulldogs, among other roles.

His brother, Tim Skipper, is the Bulldogs' current defensive coordinator.

There you Fresno mc Elaine already knows how Fresno is backwards we do everything wrong like its ok. I'm sure we'll get another under qualified coach to come with a half a$$ budget and well suck another 15 years. My daughter has 2 more years of high school and I'm gone off to a real city
