Feed My Sheep Ministries - 559-978-5469
Our Mission We have a dream of having a team of spiritually strong women & men who are able to be there with the weak and the wounded. Our purpose is to provide healing & to serve others by providing for the spiritual & physical needs of our community. These women & men would act as a mentor, a comforter, and a good friend in times of trouble. We want to work with those mothers & fathers & other family members who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Our goal is to provide help for those in need with "everyday" life chores such as cooking food, washing clothes, child care, rides, help with financial needs, funeral arrangements, and anything else to help them through their difficult time. "But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with COMPASSION on them because they fainted and were scattered abroad as sheep having no shepherd" - Matthew 9:36 We have a dream of educating people of all ages about gangs and violence and setting up a Christian safe home in those neighborhoods where gang membership is growing at a rapid rate. This home would provide a big brother counselor type of individual who could work with those kids and redirect their lives by discouraging gang and drug affiliation and encouraging education, work, and being a person who helps build the community. We are reaching out in the schools to train and prepare young people such as Ruby Williams whose mother's life was cold bloodedly taken as well as other young boys and girls who have at one time been out there on drugs or with gangs. These we want to send into the schools with books, brochures, and all the info that's needed to persuade other youth to not join gangs and use drugs. We have a large need for volunteers like these people to comfort and help those families who have suffered a loss in their family because their familiy member was murdered. If you feel led to help, then please step forward. If not you... then who?
