CBS 47 On Your Side's Secondary Audio Programming (SAP) is now available with Spanish Language Audio
CBS 47 strives to provide the community with relevant technology and advancements that bring choices to television viewing. We are very proud to announce that viewers can now enjoy the Spanish-language version of the following CBS 47 programs: “Bold and the Beautiful”; “Geraldo”; “24” and “CSI Weekends”. We will continue to work to bring a greater selection of programs on CBS 47 in Spanish SAP to the Central Valley. Look for updates to our list in the future. Following is an explanation of how to receive SAP on your set.
Most televisions and VCRs manufactured in 1995 or later have SAP options. SAP only works with STEREO sound; if your set delivers MONO sound only, SAP will not work unless you purchase a stand-alone SAP receiver which will pick up the Secondary Audio Program
With most stereo televisions, you can access the SAP (secondary audio program) channel through the audio programming function using your remote control.
Once you have determined how to access the audio option controls on your television (on your remote, on the television set or on the stand-alone SAP receiver), you can activate the SAP option by:
- Pressing the MENU button and locate the preferences/options for SETUP, AUDIO PROGRAM and/or AUDIO/VIDEO preferences.
- Select AUDIO then select the SAP or Secondary audio Program option to activate reception of the SAP audio program
- After selecting SAP, your television set will receive the Secondary Audio Programming when it is available.

Second Audio Programming (SAP) en su televisión:
Si usted tiene una TV estérea, usted puede tener acceso al canal del SAP (Second Audio Programming - audio en otro idioma) con la función de programación en su telecontrol'. Cuando usted tiene el men en la pantalla, tiene la opción para los siquente: Setup, Program o Audio/Video. Abajo de la función del audio, selecione la opción del SAP. Televisiones con modelos más viejas pueden tener un botón adentro de la puerta de la TV.
La mayora de las televisiones y de los VCRs estéreos fabricados desde 1995 tienen opciones del SAP. Su television necesita sonido estereo para usar el SAP. Si su television tiene mono sonido, no va tener la opcion del SAP.
Usted debe determinar donde está el control audio en su sistema de la televisión. Puede ser un botón en el telecontrol que se llama "SAP" o puede ser en el men audio. Escoja uno de los siquente: "installed", "AudioControl", o Action. Cuando usted determina donde el audio control es, debe selecionar la moda "SAP" (en vez de estéreo o mono) si usted desea or el video descriptivo o estéreo" selecione él apagador. Después de selecionar el "SAP", la television va a difundir el canal con audio secundario cuando es disponible. Para mas ayuda refiera a su manual de instructions de su televisión o al Web site del fabricante.
Usted puede también comprar un receptor audio independiente al SAP para obtener frequencia audio secundario de su estación local en su televisión.

In addition to CBS 47’s commitment to provide closed captioning in English for the hearing impaired audience, CBS 47 will also offer real-time closed captioned subtitles in Spanish for CBS 47 This Morning, CBS 47 at Noon, CBS 47 at 5:00pm, CBS 47 at 6:00pm and CBS 47 at 11:00pm.
For CBS 47 viewers, English captions appear on Closed Caption 1 (CC1) and Spanish captions appear on Closed Caption 2(CC2). To activate the Translate TV feature; push the “menu” button on your remote, highlight and push on the “closed captioning” (cc) menu item, then highlight and push on the (CC2) menu item. Then exit the menu. CBS 47 offers this service at no cost to Central Valley viewers through software from Translate TV, a company which provides real-time translation software.
Local News in English and Spanish… just another way CBS47 is On Your Side!
¡El CBS 47 de KGPE en su lado es el primer y solamente la estación local de la televisión a proporcionar traduce la TV a nuestros espectadores!

Para activar la característica del traducir TV; empuje el botón del "menú" en el telecontrol, toque de luz y el empuje en "cerró subtitular" el artículo de menú (cc), después el hightlight y el empuje en el artículo de menú (CC2). Entonces salga del menú.
CBS47 ofrece este servicio en ningún coste a los espectadores centrales del valle a través de software de traduce TV, compañía que proporcione software en tiempo real de la traducción.
