The giant consumer electronics show in Las Vegas took place in January and lifestyle reporter Katlean Demonchy checked out this year's biggest new ideas.
CES 2012 LINE-UP:

4. HEALTH AND BABY TECH – A sensor that gives you a health grade, smart baby scale that tracks important milestones, wi-fi enable it allows you to share the milestones with friends and family. A DVR that is childproof so you can download all of your pre-schooler’s favorite shows so you can get your more expensive devices back.
