A large donation to Fresno State was announced on Monday.

Fresno native and Fresno State alumni Tamsen Munger has pledged $100,000 to establish a scholarship at the university.

The Tamsen Nichols Munger Program will provide scholarships of up to $4,000 to Fresno State students majoring in geology, physics, mathematics or chemistry.

Tamsen, now retired, once owned and managed the Tamsen Munger Gallery.
