When temperatures drop, local communities open public centers to the homeless and indigent population or anyone else who needs to get out of the cold.

Fresno:
When the National Weather Service overnight temperature prediction falls to 36 degrees or below: 

Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Center
760 Mayor Avenue
8:30pm - 6:30am

FAX to provide free fixed-route bus transportation to Frank H. Ball Neighborhood Center beginning at 5 p.m. on official Warming Center nights. Citizens need to indicate to the FAX driver that they are traveling to the Warming Center.

PARCS will distribute Bus Ride Tickets (valid only on Routes 32 and 34, one transfer allowed) to Warming Center participants as needed for return bus ride the following morning.

If the shelter reaches a capacity of more than 100 individuals, a second facility will be opened.
