Solar Cooking at the Discovery Center

This weekend is the Valley's first Solar Cooking Festival at the Discovery Center in Fresno.

The event takes place Saturday, June 23rd from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Discovery Center, located at 1937 N. Winery, between Clinton and McKinley Avenues.

The solar cooking demonstrations and food sampling takes place 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

There will also be live music from Cerro Negro, the Eva Scow Trio, DJ Chris and more, plus arts & crafts vendors, food, lots of reptiles and other animals on display and cool water-spash fun for the kids.

Admission to the event is free.
