Fresno County Sheriff Margaret Mims and Fresno State football coach Tim DeRuyter are rallying support for a breast cancer awareness event this weekend at Fresno State.

The 2012 Komen Central Valley Race for the Cure will take place on Saturday, October 20th at the CSU Fresno Satellite Student Union.

Race Day Timeline

6:30 a.m.     Registration and Packet Pickup Opens
7:30 a.m.     Men’s 5K Run (Timed)
8:00 a.m.     Women’s 5K Run (Timed)
8:00 a.m.     Survivor’s Hospitality Tent Opens
9:00 a.m.     Awards Ceremony For 5K Runners
9:30 a.m.     Survivor Recognition Ceremony*
10:30 a.m.    Co-Ed 5k WALK (3.1 mile), 2.2 Mile or 1 Mile WALK
11:30 a.m.    Kids for the Cure® Race
 
Race Day Entry Fee

Individual Adult Entry:  $35
Children 12 and under:  $20
