The third annual "Paws and Pomegranates" festival takes place Saturday, October 6th, to raise funds for the Valley Animal Center.

Twin Pomegranates will offer wine tasting. The event will also feature food sampling, a silent auction and live music. The Center will also bring several pets in need of loving homes.

The Valley Animal Center is a "no-kill dog and cat adoption center, low-cost spay, neuter and vaccination clinic and humane education provider. For two decades, the Valley Animal Center, originally known as the California Feline Foundation, has played a vital role in raising awareness for the no-kill movement in the Central Valley."
