The CBS47 On Your Side Collection Drive took place on August 8th and the great people of the Central Valley came by with book donations all day long. Thank you!
The books were sorted and put on display at a public book sale to raise money for our libraries.
For the second year in a row, the sale took place inside Sierra Vista Mall during normal mall business hours and was staffed by volunteers.
The proceeds benefit the Reading & Literacy Programs in Fresno County Libraries and any unsold books were donated to the library.
