Fresno County Schools Superintendent Larry Powell stopped by CBS47 This Morning to talk about a new contest to help local campuses win cash. Starting Thursday, February 2nd, Cherry Avenue Auction will donate $1 to almost 100 local elementary schools for every "like" it receives on its Facebook page, until $20,000 is reached.
You can log onto Cherry Avenue Auction's Facebook page and vote for your favorite campus. The one with the most votes will get an additional $1,000.
Powell says, "We'd really like to see some community momentum behind this great fundraising contest."
