A Fresno dentist is taking part in a national program, where kids can sell their Halloween candy, and it will be sent to U.S. troops overseas.

Doctor Treva Lee works with Operation Gratitude.

Here's how it works: Drop off your leftover Halloween candy at Dr. Lee's office is at 2630 N. Fresno St. #101, between Clinton and Shields by the VA Hospital.

You'll be paid $1 for every pound of candy and the candy will be sent to troops over seas.

Kids who take part can also send a letter to the troops.
