Fresno State students will once again help dozens of families living in the Fresno Inn. They're considered "sheltered homeless", because they don't have a permanent address.

The students are members of the Social Work Student Association (SWSA). They're collecting basic necessities - like toiletries - for the families. They're also putting together backpacks filled with school supplies to distribute to the 20 children there. The students will also hold a "Fun Day" event Saturday, June 9th, for the kids. It'll include carnival games, food and other entertainment.

The organization still needs several donations of backpacks and school supplies. To help, please contact SWSA President Daniel Villarreal at (559) 273-6842 or email dvillarreal27@mail.fresnostate.edu
