Two dozen locally-owned restaurants are taking part in Restaurant Week. This is the second year in a row the Fresno Regional Independent Business Alliance - or FRIBA - has put on the event.
Now through August 3rd, restaurants will offer fixed-price menus. The goal is to encourage diners to try new places.
FRIBA's Mission is to promote and celebrate our locally owned and independent business community as a means of preserving the character of the Fresno region; and to educate our community about the value of investing in our locally owned, independent businesses so together, we can build a sustainable and diverse local economy."
Joe's Steakhouse owner Maribel Anaya and Craig Scharton from the City of Fresno visited CBS47 This Morning on Monday to talk about the event and cook up some dishes.
