CBS47 has partnered with the Big Fresno Fair, Community Food Bank and Salvation Army to help "Feed the Need" in the Central Valley.
The CBS47 On Your Side Collection Drive took place on Wednesday, September 19th.
The food drive took place 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the CBS47 Studios, located at 4880 N. First Street, across from Fashion Fair Mall in Fresno.
Viewers brought donations of canned food and other non-perishable items to benefit the Community Food Bank and the Salvation Army.
We collected 17,000 pounds of food, which is about 7,000 pounds more than last year's drive.
