The CBS47 On Your Side Collection Drive on November 17th was another huge success, collecting food and supplies for the Fresno Rescue Mission.
The Fresno Rescue Mission needs everything from food, to toys and household items. They not only provide food and overnight shelter for the homeless but they also have recovery programs to meet the physical, education and spiritual needs of men, women and children in our community.
In an effort to help the mission get ready for Thanksgiving, CBS47 teamed up with the mission to collect donations of food, clothing, diapers, toiletries and monetary donations as well.
People of the Central Valley showed up to support the drive and donated tons of food and supplies and hundreds of dollars in cash contributions.
If you could not make it to the Collection Drive, you can still donate to the Fresno Rescue Mission.
Thank you to the people of the Central Valley for making this another successful Collection Drive and for helping so many people in need.
