Clovis Author Margarita Engle, a contributor of the book 'Because of Shoe and Other Dog Stories,' will be signing copies of the book on Saturday at A Book Barn in Clovis.
Margarita is the author of several books including: The Wild Book, Hurricane Dancers, Summer Birds, The Firefly Letters, Tropical Secrets, The Surrender Tree and The Poet Slave of Cuba.
There will also be search and rescue dogs at A Book Barn from noon to 1:30 p.m.
The book signing will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at A Book Barn, located at 640 Clovis Avenue, across from the Clovis Rodeo Grounds.
