Fresno's high temperature on Friday reached 100-degrees bringing the number of consecutive days with triple-digit highs in the city to 19.

With high pressure getting stronger and no real onshore wind to cool off the valley, Fresno will have another triple-digit day on Saturday and possibly Sunday too.

That would make 21 days in a row at 100-degrees or above tying the record of 21 days in a row with triple-digits set in 2005.

The August hot streak has produced 10 days at 105-degrees or hotter.

Even if the we don't set a new record this will go down as one of the hottest Augusts on record.

The hottest temperature this month was 111-degrees on the 11th.

Try to stay cool!
