A new record of 82-degrees was set around sunrise for the "record high minimum temperature" or the warmest low temperature on record for the date in Fresno.

The temperatures climbed quickly once the sun came up and wasn't expected to stop until reaching 110-degrees Tuesday afternoon.
The record high in Fresno for the date is 112-degrees set in 1933.
