It was a very warm morning in Fresno indeed.

A new record of 82-degrees was set around sunrise for the "record high minimum temperature" or the warmest low temperature on record for the date in Fresno.

Official National Weather Service temperature observations for Fresno are taken at Fresno Yosemite International Airport.

The temperatures climbed quickly once the sun came up and wasn't expected to stop until reaching 110-degrees Tuesday afternoon.

The record high in Fresno for the date is 112-degrees set in 1933.

Check out the list below from the Hanford National Weather Service for other records that were set across Central California this morning.
