Clouds moving up from the south will bring partly cloudy skies to central California Thursday.

A few showers and thunderstorms might even develop over the mountains Thursday and Friday and isolated areas of sprinkles are possible over the San Joaquin Valley.

Saturday and Sunday will cool down and clear up as a trough of low pressure swings through the area.

By Monday what's left of Tropical Storm Ileana in the Pacific Ocean may move through the central California as clouds and possible showers in the mountains.

All in all the holiday weekend forecast is looking good.
