Freezing Weekend

Arctic air will blast into Central California this weekend bringing the valley a dose of the coldest temperatures so far this winter.

Morning lows will drop to well below freezing for several hours each morning this weekend.

The National Weather Service has issued a FREEZE WARNING effective from early Friday morning to Monday morning.

The Freeze Warning covers the entire San Joaquin Valley.

Low will drop to 26-28-degrees for up to four hours Friday morning and then get colder over the weekend.

From Saturday morning through Monday morning lows will range from 23-28-degrees for up to eight hours.

The coldest temperatures will occur from about 11 pm to 9 am each morning.
